  2. i dont get what your falcon needs to be installed as i see metas as a possibility of a addon but it also seems like its a replace.

A tad late to reply here, so consider it a necro posting of sorts and this has probably already been resolved via alternate means but anyway for future questions matching this the answer is below.... By default, MVGA uses a silly 'oversized raindrop' texture which makes the droplets appear the size of elephants, the only way you will fix this issue is to find an alternate rain texture and place it where its needed (the replacement texture should contain information on where it should go, if not... well Google is the next best option as I do not recall from the top of my noggin where abouts the particular file in question is located within the GTA structure.
  6. TL;DR: Yes, It will be making a comeback. A reworked version from the ground up myself. If this is in regards to the SantaFe from MrFui, I can say I will be doing something as I have the source files and was the sole person providing him with equipment and vehicle updates. HOWEVER the vehicle how it sits in its current form is NOT exactly what I would consider a great thing to release as it was majorly tampered with BEFORE it was surrendered to me as a project. I was sadly burned pretty badly and this has been the major reason as to why I've sorta been quiet and seemingly dropped off the face of the planet in terms of GTA Modding. It won't likely happen in the next month or two as I have a pretty flat out period in life right now, so I cannot put a date as to when Ill be working on this project. I will most likely be posting progress shots when the projects underway over on my own website with the occasional update dropped here to stir the pot a little bit every now and then.   7. First up, Sorry for the well overdue wait on reply.... Any slot you choose, although no idea if you know how easy it is to add vehicles as DLC, and then add those DLC vehicles to traffic spawning, which is the preferred method of doing things.. The same instructions as any other vehicle, you have installed others in the past? I mean not to sound like a dickbag or anything but there's nothing special about this to make it require a unique set of steps.
  8. Just went over the forums and cleaned up some incompatible SSL links - Please keep in mind when posting external images that they use https:// rather then just  http:// this will keep the connection more secure and wont break SSL compliance.

    Victoria Police Siren Pack The audio/sound clips featured are recordings of a REAL Victorian Police vehicle - Audio/sound clips had bad wind contamination and still remains oh so slightly. For this I am sorry but removal of any more wind resulted in too much quality loss which I was not prepared to put my name to. Special Thanks to Mick(Ya know who ya are), Victoria Police for allowing these clips to be recorded - Showing support for the Australian Gaming Community! How To Install This Pack: By downloading this pack, it is assumed you already have the basic knowledge of modifying Grand Theft Auto: V using the modding suite known as OpenIV. If you do not, then you will need to learn the basics on OpenIV first otherwise you may not experience the intended results. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - CONTINUE AT OWN RISK Step1: Using OpenIV, Navigate to: OpenIV/GTA V/x64/audio/sfx/RESIDENT.RPF which should look something like this screenshot below: Now if you already have not done so please COPY this file to MODS FOLDER as described here: Now we wait for the file to finish copying to the "mods" folder. Once copied we should be automatically redirected to the new folder (as shown by the image below) Step2: Now we need to export your current sound bank to modify the sounds within it, to do this we will use a built in toolset to OpenIV called OpenFormats. Right click on 'vehicles.awc' and select 'Export to OpenFormats(.oac)' then select a save destination folder that is EMPTY! Once you have selected your save destination it will automatically decrypt the package into individual wav files and a "signature" file also. From here you will want to Download the sirens package from this page and extract the contained sound files INTO the folder titled 'vehicles' overwriting all existing content. >> >> Once you have confirmed the overwrite to happen you should see something like this below: That's it, now we can re-import the VicPol Sirens into our games, Follow on in Step3! Step3: Now its time to re-import our modified sounds. To do so we need to use OpenIV again, so bring that back into focus and using the menu bar; Locate 'New' > 'Import openFormats' (or press SHIFT + INSERT) Now select the .oac file to re-import the sounds into GTA: V as a valid awc sound archive.   12. Recently I have taken the steps of learning Unity and what I can say is I already have learned so much in the last few weeks of messing about. I am yet to take any of the official tutorials because its near guaranteed that it will be ~45-60 mins of useless shit talk, 4-5 mins of actual information deemed vital. I know, I know... "These tutorials are set up with complete newbies in mind" - Yeah sure, but you see they expect that in every tutorial up on the official tutorial archives and I don't have the time nor the attention span to sit there listening to some droney sounding instructor, these cunts put me to sleep in my schooling years..... So as it turns out, I have just made shit a little tougher on my self because I refuse to sit for how ever many episodes at the average of an hour a piece, to me it just doesn't seem valuable at all in regards to time spent to things learned when you can always trial and error and usually learn a fuck tonne more then sitting through an hourish of a tutorial on one subject, for example an hour on how to serialize data with save and load methods is total bullshit. Anyway, I have spent a few days making some simple assets in blender, rigged up some humanoid characters (not all bones are there currently, just important ones, placeholders don't need to be perfect, just need to be about right) I have also received some assets from @corvette81 which I must say is very kind of him to offer his time to the cause with some assets to play with, thanks bud Now if you have read this far and still wondering what my plan is with all of this, you are going to have to keep reading some more because I'm not spilling my secrets just yet, but there will be a project released at the end of it all. I will admit, the task I have assigned myself is a pretty large task indeed but shouldn't be unachievable at all, there are just a few systems I need to develop because I don't have the funds freely available to throw at the project to buy premade assets of the quality that I would like, so I have to make them myself, and that is the path that has been set in stone. Now before anyone asks (because people have already offered and I have declined) I am currently not accepting donations towards the project as there is NOTHING in terms of gameplay to show, I would feel as though I am doing wrong by accepting donations for nothing to show in return, If you are interested in helping the cause, please sit on that donation thought until I have a small showcase to show something off with my placeholder assets & a few select free ones that fit the bill. Things I will release about the project are as follows; Set in the current day, day/night cycles, weather system, AI, AI Animals, First Person, Street racing, Smallish "Open World" 2048kmx2048km (working towards larger "maps") Have a mod api already started to allow mods and testing for those who are special enough ORIGINAL "map" will be entirely in Australian environment - Mythical location, Real Australian landmarks (Reasons being, I'm not recreating peoples neighbourhoods, procedural generation modes**) **=Not Decided Its about cars, Motorsports - Road(with AI/MP Traffic), Track Events, Offroad Events I could keep going but i'd eventually give too much away and potentially loose my project idea to someone else who knows exactly what they are doing, because when I say its been a long time I have been waiting for a game to fill this void in me since I thought of it when I was a child playing my fathers Commodore 64. I wish I had of picked up this earlier as it would now be much further in development and I would have something more to share that would be of interest other then this wall of text you are reading now. I have been waiting for this game for too long now, and I do not know why it has not been made yet by any game developers out there, there are games that have come REAL close to it (not naming games, will give it away) but none have hit the nail on the head or come close to being a true game to fill the particular genre.
